Bip, bip, bip... «Is it my PC ?», «No, mine» , «Damn !». Classical day at work, no ? Many machines, same ulgy beep. How to catch this signal and play a sound with the sound card instead of PC Speaker ? The answer is xbelld !

Xbelld is a usefull daemon that can be launched by :

% xbelld -c -f ~/son/ni.wav

-f for the sound file and -c put it in memory (cache). Check the manpage for more.

«Ni !»
